PRIDE UNITES US call for artists

Call for Artists

Evanston Pride, Evanston Public Library, and Evanston Made are collaborating to present an evolving exhibition at the Main Branch of EPL, in honor of Pride Month.

Pride Unites Us will run from now through June 20 in the third floor gallery space at 1703 Orrington Ave, Evanston, IL.

LGBTQAI+ artists are invited to submit work related to the theme Pride Unites Us. Work must be ready to hang  Writers/poets may also contribute, if work is ready to hang as well. Artists can submit multiple pieces (up to 6) so we can fill the whole place with Pride!

Work should be dropped off at the Evanston Public Library second floor desk (attention: Heather Ross) until June 5. While we realize this is a tight deadline turnaround, we hope to have the opportunity to show a wide range of LGBTQAI+ work in this evolving exhibition.

Artists can sell their work, but will need to take care of sales themselves (so will need to provide contact info). While not necessary, artists are encouraged to donate a percentage of sales to EPL, Evanston Pride and/or Evanston Made.

Neither the library, Evanston Pride, nor Evanston Made will be held responsible for any loss or damage to your artwork while on display. Artists accept liability, and understand that the exhibition is in a public and well utilized building in our community.

Thank you! And Happy Pride!
