Introducing the 101 Great Books for Kids 2023 List!
Once again the hardworking library workers of Evanston Public Library have spent their entire year culling through thousands of brand new children’s books, just so that they could give you the best of the best.
The Blueberry Award
The Blueberry Award goes to the best books for kids ages 3-10 in a given year that support love of nature and action for the planet. Katherine Applegate, Newberry Winner for The One and Only Ivan and Blueberry Honor Winner for Odder says, “Delighted to hear that some wise folks have finally noticed the need to highlight nature and climate lit for children!”
