Celebrate Floyd Cooper Day by reading great books written and/or illustrated by award winner Floyd Cooper. In early May Children’s Book Week will honor the work of the late Floyd Cooper, who illustrated and/or wrote many noteworthy books for young audiences. Cooper received two Coretta Scott King Illustrator Awards, a Caldecott Honor, among many other accolades.
