Bridging the Gap: Disparities in Healthcare
Evanston Public Library and TBF Diagnostic are excited to offer this health fair that will provide an avenue where the general public can acquire more information to make better lifestyle choices. The goals of this fair is to:
- Showcase wellness resources,
- Provide educational presentations
- Improve health inequities
- Address emotional wellbeing by adding to long term community solutions.
We will also feature guest speakers whose presentations will focus on health topics that effect the BIPOC community at higher rates:

Alisha Yates-Whittaker – Director, TBF Diagnostic & Daru Smith – Regional Coordinator, Illinois Secretary of State
Kaaron Whiteside – Director, PWP Health (Proving what’s Possible/Mental Health Services)
Kiara Norwood – Alternative Wellness Therapist, Norwood Wellness
