Join Evanston Public Library and Yeefah Thurman on Sunday, December 8, from 2pm – 5pm at the Robert Crown Branch to Celebrate the National Crown Act with the Evanston Public Library! in celebration and preparation for National Crown Day on July 3, 2024! This event will educate and address the hair discrimination against BIPOC, specifically Black people, define the importance of the National Crown Act, and will be able to sign the national petition pushing for policy change.
