Study Rooms

The Main library offers 7 study rooms for adults and teens on the 3rd floor:

  • Fully Enclosed Rooms: East, West, and Newberry.
  • Glass Cubicles: A, B, C, and D.
  • Teen Study Rooms: 2 additional rooms are located in the Teen Loft for teens only.

The Robert Crown branch offers 3 study rooms for adults and teens:

  • Fully Enclosed Rooms: 113, 114, and 115.
  • Crown Specific: Only patrons who are 18 and older can reserve a study room. Rooms cannot be reserved by a parent, caregiver, friend or older sibling/family member on behalf of anyone under 18. The individual who books the room must remain in the room for the duration of the room’s use.

*Each room at both locations has a capacity ranging from 1 to 6 people, based on room size.

Reservation Guidelines:

  • Study rooms can be booked up to 7 days in advance.
  • Patrons are allowed to reserve one 2-hour block per 24 hours.
  • A new reservation can only be made once the previous session is completed.
  • Reservations are free and can be made via the library’s website, by phone, or in person.

Room Use:

  • Rooms are intended for small group use and not for public meetings or commercial purposes.
  • Each room has a set capacity limit based on its size.

Availability & Hours:

  • Rooms are available during regular library operating hours.

Grace Period:

  • A 15-minute grace period is provided. If you do not arrive within this time frame, your reservation will be canceled.

Liability:

  • Users are responsible for any damage to library property or equipment.
  • The library is not liable for any loss or damage to personal property.

Release of Liability:

  • By using a study room, users agree to release the library and its affiliates from any claims or liability related to injury or damages that may occur during their reservation.

Policy Enforcement:

  • Failure to follow library policies may result in the cancellation of your reservation and denial of future bookings.
