Need a book, article, or other resource that’s not available in our collection? Our Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service allows you to borrow materials from other libraries, ensuring you have access to the information you need. Simply submit a request, and we'll take care of the rest.
Here are a few key details about ILL service:
- You must be a member of the Evanston Public Library in good standing.
- You can have up to 5 interlibrary loan requests at a time.
- Materials owned by the Evanston Public Library or our partner libraries cannot be requested.
- Items published within the past 12 months cannot be requested.
- Delivery times vary depending on the availability and distance of the lending library.
- The lending library sets the borrowing period, and renewals are not allowed.
