Hoopla is aware that a recent iOS update is causing Hoopla to crash for some patrons, and they apologize for the disruption to the service.
While Hoopla works on a permanent fix, here's a temporary workaround that's resolved the issue for most affected patrons:
- Delete the Hoopla app from your device
- Restart your device (this is important - the usual “uninstall and reinstall the app” fix won’t work without this step)
- Reinstall Hoopla from the App Store
They have submitted an updated version of the app to Apple for review. We will share any updates as they become available.
